you can only relax if you are sure of the position you entered at least about 80% assurance and you use a stop loss on any trading position. |

When I started out trading forex, I use to be very uptight. I would even pack my dinner or lunch and sit in front of the computer to look for trades. After a while I thought that this is not the way to trade so I look for ways to make it that I do not need to sit at my computer all the time. Hence by putting Fibonacci levels, support and resistance lines and my signals and trading with it until I have more confidence, I found that when I am more relax, it was easier to see the trades. I also found out that when I am tired and I traded I tend to loose. Nowadays I am more relax and when I am tired, I would just close the computer and sleep. |

You can only relax if your potential loss on the trade is predetermined and is a small % of your account size. However, this is the dilemma in trading. If your potential loss is small, then so too is your potential gain. So in order not to "waste" the time and effort when the setup arrives, traders tend to stake a significant monetary and emotional capital iin each trade. If you want to relax, better go to Disneyland or somewhere with a cheery atmosphere. |

Even with a well defined strategy, the uncertainty of an (unscheduled) major event, like 9/1/2001, is always a possibility. I’m always concerned when trading, which I attribute to awareness. Maybe in the future I’ll be relaxed. |

We can feel relax only after we manage to fence off emotion in trading. |
