If yes, what is its main purpose in forex trading? Most reviews about EAs are not favorable. Despite negative reviews, do EAs really make pips on their own?

0 Votes Yes, an E.A. is an Expert Advisor. They are also called robots. Hmm, yes, there are a few out there that make pips on their own... The problem is that the gains of these robots are hardly sustainable. For example, some robots do extremely well on trending markets, but give up all (and maybe more) on ranging markets.
