For how long remains a high impact news event effective in average (e.g. minutes,hours)
events like interest rates, trade balance, GDP, etc...

Every news release is different, so there is no easy answer. However, most releases have the highest effect on the market during the first 45 minutes, and by the time you reach 120 minutes, the impact is usually over... except for trend changing events such as Central Bank speeches or Interest Rate decisions, which can last up to a few days. |
