How do you install new indicators in Metatrader 4?

Please show steps on how to install new indicators in MT4 and how to apply it to a chart.

0 Votes 1) Download/Copy/Save the MQ4/EX4 file into your C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 4\experts\indicators folder .. Desktop typically easiest. 2)Launch your MetaTrader application 3) On the left hand side, look for the "Navigator" window 4) Under the "Common" tab, look into the "Custom Indicators" directory 5) Locate the indicator which you have just downloaded into the folder. 6) Drag (Click and drag) the indicator to custom indicator section on left side of mt4. 7)Click the add indicator icon on top toolbar of mt4, 8)Highlight custom indicators and apply your desired indicator. * If save your indicators setting as a template allows you to have that setup saved, the last icon on the right side of the top toolbar is the template icon* by Moderator 1 year ago by Moderator 1 year ago
