Well, you would know until Mr. President talks, it all depends what he is talking about and the degree of impact of his speech.

That can vary. It really can go either way.. It all depends on what he is talking about and what the plans are on the subject he is covering. If he is talking about healthcare not a big impact. If he talks about the economy and jobs the related US pairs could move very quickly and rapidly

The Us President is an influential person, but what he speaks will help you know the impact on the market, either the US retail sales, the GDP q/q etc. just check the Currency meter and the economic calender? for +ve or - ve trends

Typically, if the US president speaks to foreign or domestic policy, the market will react, the question is to determine if the trend is long term or short term, and the weighting factor. This is a very "loose" question with the possibility of not having any reaction to completely reversing the USD trend up or down

If the message is one of optimism with references to economic policies and growth rates, the USD may likely make gains. How it is perceived however, can result to mixed reactions.

The market really does not move with all the speeches of the US President. It depends on the message he is sending to the public. For example market pays more attention when the president speaks about employment, recession etc.

It really depends on the message the president is sending to the public. News about the recession will have an immediate effect on the market. If you can remember every time former President Bush spoke on immigration reform the market would drop.

It is not all the speeches of the president that the market pay attention to,attention can be paid to the president speech during crisis and the market will move as to tone of his language.I believe market pay more attention to Fed Chairman and finance secretary.
