If you have experience in FXmarket, I suggest you try with U.S. 500 or less.If you do like this for sure you'll have enough amount to risk and you could place your "STOP LOSS" within an acceptable range without loss in the event of a change in trend. If You begin with only U.S.50 or U.S.100, you'll not have enough balance to trade long!

$1000 dollars is a fair amount to start trading, but you should have had a good amount of time trading demo preparing your strategy to be ready to take the risk of live trading. So essentially you wouldn't wanna consider yourself a newbie anymore in my opinion, you should be educated.

If you were to have $10,000 you had have the same risk as a $1000 account when you buy and sell while having proper usable margin. Just because you have more capital does not mean you cant be overleveraged, so no not less risky a common misconception among newbies.
