When using the currency strength meter to trade the news, how long after the announcement should I wait to trade.

I've just finished watching Henry Liu talk about how he uses the currency strengh meter to trade a strong currency against a weaker one immediately after a news announcement. How soon is immediately? Are we talking seconds, one minute, five minutes?
