When you are in profitable trade. Should you use hedging to protect your profit when the retracement occured? Why or Why not?
Hedging your position to protect profit especially when you are trading longer time frame 30M, 1H, 4H etc..

We are in the trading business to make money I believe we should not let a profitable trade turn negative where ever possible.Some traders usually take half profit and the remaining to breakeven level as the trade is in their favour and let the rest run. |

I will not use hedging to protect my profit because the better alternative is to realize the gain while waiting for the retracement over. The transaction cost and complication with hedging shall be considered as well. |
